Kahoot Test Review

Students took a test today for our Social Studies: Communities unit. We reviewed the information on the study guide by playing Kahoot. The kids LOVEd it and it helped them do well. 

Special Olympics

Students helped cheer on our 3rd and 4th grade participants before their Bowling practice. Go McClure 3rd grade!!!

Crape Myrtle Run

McClure won the participation award for the 5th year in a row! We had so many students and their family participate in the event. Way to go Marshals!!!!

FUN RUN 2015

We had our FUN RUN and the kids had a blast! It was a very war day, but our Specials Team did a fantastic job keeping them busy. Thanks to our Room Moms for getting us a class banner and for providing each student with water.

Fun Friday

Each week we will have a goal to set aside 15-20 minutes for Fun Friday. Students who have completed their homework for the week will get to participate. The class enjoyed listening to music and building race tracks. They are learning about incline planes, ramps, velocity, teamwork, and much more through this "playing".

Buddy Reading

Students partnered up to buddy read the story Ramona and her Father. This week we are focusing on character analysis. 

ELM: Communities

This week we are starting our first ELM project in Social Studies. Students were placed into groups, created a team name, and chose team jobs. They are excited to create a brochure about McKinney that will be placed in the Library.
